The ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø Piedra Pump Climbing Competition brought in climbing teams across Colorado including Colorado University, CSU-Pueblo, Metro State University of Denver, Fort Lewis College and the University of Northern Colorado.
According to ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State Adventure Sports Coordinator Tamera Rice, the event was better attended than last year. "It is fun to climb and a blast to watch."
Matt Moore, ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State head climbing coach, said: "One thing is for sure, everyone is looking forward to next year."
The next event for the ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State climbing team is Regionals on March 25 in Fort Collins, Colo.
