The ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø Department of Music presents a Band Concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, in Richardson Hall Auditorium. The concert is a joint event with the Salida High School Band, under the direction of ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State alumnus Andre Wilkins.
Angela Winter, ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State band director, will direct Fanfare and Flourishes for a Festive Occasion, by James Curnow; Visigoths, by Sean O’Loughlin; and Bravura, by C.E. Duble and arranged by Richard E. Thurston.
The program will include Lightning Field, by John Mackey; and Celebration Tribalesque, by Randall D. Standridge, both directed by Wilkins.
