2 Cool 4 School – the ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø Student Athlete Advisory Committee will hold the Second Annual Backyard Bash with carnival games, food, raffle, and a musical performance by Kazual.
The event, part of the annual ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State Grizzly Days, will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, April 24, in Plachy Hall.
According to ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State student John Beedle, the Backyard Bash is a collaborative event to bring the students of ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State together as well as the Alamosa community. “Its purpose is to serve as a family oriented event where we are reaching out to the San Luis Valley Community in order to promote ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø clubs, athletics and facilities, in celebration of all our successes throughout another progressive year as Grizzlies.â€
The Backyard Bash is a lively night filled with activities for all ages, music and a social gathering of the populations. The event, in a family friendly atmosphere, will include carnival games, food, and live entertainment by Kazual. Kazual, an a cappella group, is a household name within The National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) who has visited, performed, and tugged on the heart strings of thousands of students at a multitude of campuses across the nation.
