The first Friday of every month, ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø art students organize an Art Hop. This month the event will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. (or later) Friday, March 3, in two locations: Alamosa Home Store, 630 Main St.; and the Alamosa Presbyterian Church, 330 San Juan Av.
Alamosa’s First Friday committee invites all community members and ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø students to the non-traditional art gallery opening. The event is free and open to the public.
³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State art students are featured in this opening, but the committee would like to open up the next showing to artists in the local community.
The event will include live music, food, spoken word and poetry.
