³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State ensembles perform during a spring 2017 concert.
The ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø Winds and Percussion Ensemble will welcome Dr. Tracy Doyle, professor of music, who will solo during the performance. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 8, in the Richardson Hall Auditorium.
The performance is the kick-off event for the ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State Top of the Nation Honor Band, which will host over 150 high school instrumentalists from Colorado and Texas. The concert will feature some of ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø State chamber ensembles in addition to large works for the full band. The performance will end with a collaborative work performed with the Chamber Choir.
