The ³Ô¹Ï¹ÙÍø Adventure Program is partnering with the City of Alamosa, SLV GO!, and the Rio Grande Watershed Conservation Education Initiative (RGWCEI) to provide a summer program for local teens interested in outdoor recreation and natural resources.Â
Guided by a belief that exercise can be a healthy choice for patients, Smith pursued the topic for her graduate thesis, when she launched an original study to discover and measure the benefits.
The delegation met with different groups on campus to discuss higher education’s role in rural schools.

In addition to establishing 40 scholarships, for the fifth year, McDaniel provided funding for the McDaniel Internship program.
She travels the country to work, climb, and write.
